I’ve tried to see if there’s a reason that causes the logging out and white screen, such as after an app update etc, but it’s totally random and would usually catch me off guard when I am in the most challenging situation of needing to unlock the door smoothly. Now, I occasionally encounter the death screen of white, when the app launches to a white screen and you have to kill it and relaunch. Even with Touch ID, the time it takes to log into the app, click Bluetooth unlock and waiting for the door to unlock takes just about the same time as taking out my keys to unlock a traditional bolt (and worse if the app decides to log out).
